Review of Roofing Qualification and Unit Standards

We are proud to announce the completion of the qualification review and skill standard development for the New Zealand Certificate in Roofing (Installation) (Level 4) listed in November 2024.

Waihanga Ara Rau would like to thank the Roofing Technical Advisory Group and representatives from the roofing industry who supported the development work and gave feedback.

Project outcomes

As a result of this project, 38 new skill standards have been listed on the New Zealand Qualifications and Credentials Framework (NZQCF). This also means:

  • New skill standards will be replacing some current unit standards
  • Some current unit standards will be expired.
  • The new skill standards are included in the new qualification version.
