Edge protection

Micro-credential and skill standards development

What this project is about

We are in the final stage of development of the Temporary Edge Protection Micro-credential.

The purpose of this micro-credential is to provide a formal credential for the recognition of the skills and knowledge required for the selection, installation and removal of temporary edge protection systems.

We consulted with a range of edge protection specialists in a Technical Advisory Group (TAG)– business owners and industry organisations, to understand the skills and knowledge that would be valued by learners and employers.

The Temporary Edge Protection Micro-credential summary document is attached below for your feedback and additional information.

Have a read of the proposed micro-credential summary document and then complete a short survey to give us your feedback. Your feedback will be considered by the TAG to inform any further changes to develop this micro-credential.

You can access the micro-credential summary document here.

What do you think about the proposed micro-credential?

This project is open for feedback until 21st February 2025.
