The current glazing apprenticeship qualification has been reviewed in consultation with the glazing industry and other stakeholders. The main changes have seen removal of the residential and commercial glazing strand.
Following this review, we are looking at the glazing unit standards to determine how they support achievement of glazing skills and competencies.
The industry advisory group and other stakeholders have proposed changes to the nine existing standards listed below.
