This Workforce Development Plan is for the Construction and Infrastructure Workforce.
It is a living document that looks at past workforce trends, captures a snapshot of the current workforce and paints a picture of the future workforce. It will be updated as we develop workforce development plans for strategic industry groups and ultimately individual industry workforce development plans.
It is a starting point for the creation of Workforce Development Plans for approximately 11 Strategic Industry Groups.
Industry will decide on the final industry groupings. Once these groupings have been decided, we will develop workforce Development Plans for all 57 Industries across Construction and Infrastructure.
Each Strategic Industry Group will take the information contained in the workforce development plan and use this to create strategic workforce plans for each industry.
