Strategic Reference Group

About the Civil Infrastructure Strategic Reference Group (SRG)

The Civil Infrastructure SRG represents a diverse range of industries in New Zealand, including:

  • Bitumen surfacing
  • Bitumen plant production
  • Bulk earthworks
  • Civil Engineering Laboratory
  • Contract and project management
  • Deep piling and foundations
  • Demolition
  • Forestry earthworks
  • Road construction and maintenance
  • Roadmarking
  • Temporary traffic management
  • Traffic incident management.

The Civil Infrastructure SRG was established in June 2023.   The group is united with a shared purpose, which is to ensure the training, people development and research needs of the civil industry are met.

Members are:

The SRG is supported by Waihanga Ara Rau kaimahi Sue Hawkins (Relationship Manager) and Robbie Paul (Poumatua).
