About the Gas Infrastructure Strategic Reference Group (SRG)

The Gas Infrastructure SRG represents the following industries in New Zealand:

  • Gas reticulation
  • Gas transmission
  • Gas distribution
  • Gas conditioning
  • LPG storage and handling.

There are currently eight members in the Gas Infrastructure SRG, including experienced people representing the industry associations and Waihanga Ara Rau.

Strategic focus areas for the SRG currently include:

  • Workforce Development Plan
  • Training provision in the sector.
